Olá Monologers!

     No dia 29 de Janeiro fui até ao Teatro Naional D.Maria II ver a peça Coriolano de William Shakespeare (1564-1616), encenada por Nuno Cardoso e interpretada por Albano Jerónimo, Afonso Santos, Ana Bustorff, António Júlio, Catarina Lacerda, Daniel Pinto, João Melo, Luís Araújo, Mário Santos, Pedro Frias, Ricardo Vaz Trindade, Rodrigo Santos e Sérgio Sá Cunha. 

       Quando penso nesta peça, não consigo falar da história apesar de ter sido muito interessante pois retrata assuntos de política e guerra que envolvem conspirações, traições, morte e etc. Eu fiquei completamente apaixonada e focada na força e interpretação que a peça me transmitiu, é um trabalho muito duro que exije preparação corporal, eu consegui ver nos atores, principalmente no ator Albano Jerónimo que interpretou a personagem principal, o Coriolano, o trabalho e a constituição da personagem: Tom de voz, linguagem corporal, entoação do texto e a presença. Senti-me muito feliz e eufórica por ter a oportunidade de presenciar o trabalho destes atores, foi algo que me deixou muito inspirada e com vontade de trabalhar, não vejo a hora de puder trabalhar! Esta peça tem uma coisa diferente de todas as outras peças que eu vi, que é o facto de estar sempre no mesmo registo, ou seja, a peça tem a mesma força do início ao fim que é possível sentir-se devido à tensão que se instala desde o início e que termina na morte do Coriolano. É uma espécie de um balão cheio de ar que pode rebentar a qualquer momento, e que quando rebenta tudo "termina"... ou não. A peça durou cerca de três horas, o que é mais um "obstáculo" ou torna o trabalho mais difícil porque é muito tempo naquele registo, a aguentar toda aquela pressão. Outra coisa que me impressionou, foi o facto de sendo o texto muito forte e "sério", ter vários momentos que nos despertaram gargalhadas, tal como se estivéssemos a assistir uma comédia! É um texto muito especial, mas que se tem de saber interpretar. 

        Infelizmente deveria ter feito o post mais cedo para que pudessem assistir o espetáculo, mas por vários motivos que eu já referi não o consegui realizar. O espetáculo terminou no dia 2 de Fevereiro, e estreou a dia 9 de Janeiro, ou seja, eu também só fui na última semana, foi sorte! 

     Bem, espero que eu tenha conseguido transmitir-vos a minha visão deste espetáculo, é tão incrível que eu as vezes tenho medo de não me conseguir expressar como deveria.

     On January 29 I went to the Naional Theatre D. Maria II to see the theatrical spectacle Coriolanus by William Shakespeare (1564-1616), directed by Nuno Cardoso and performed by Albano Jerónimo, Afonso Santos, Ana Bustorff, Anthony Julius, Catarina Lacerda, Daniel Pinto, João Melo, Luís Araújo, Mário Santos, Pedro Frias, Ricardo Vaz Trinity, Rodrigo Santos and Sérgio Sá Cunha. 

     When I think of this piece, I can not speak of the story even though it was very interesting because it portrays issues of politics and war involving conspiracies, betrayals, death and so on. I was completely passionate and focused on strength and interpretation of the piece conveyed to me, is very hard work that demands bodily preparation, I got to see the actors, especially in Albano Jerónimo actor who played the main character, Coriolanus, work and constitution character: Tone of voice , body language , intonation of the text and presence . I felt very happy and elated to have the opportunity to witness the work of these actors was something that left me very inspired and willing to work, neither can wait to work ! This piece has a different from all the other pieces that I saw, which is that of always being on the same record , ie , the piece has the same force from start to finish that you can feel due to the tension install from the beginning and ending in the death of Coriolanus. It's kind of a balloon full of air that can burst at any time , and that when everything bursts " ends " ... or not . The play lasted about three hours, which is more an "obstacle " or makes the job more difficult because it is a long time in that recording, hold all that pressure. Another thing that impressed me was the fact of being very strong and " serious " text, have several moments that aroused the laughter , as if we were watching a comedy ! It is a very special text, but one has to know how to interpret.
     Unfortunately the post should have done earlier so they could watch the show , but for various reasons I have already stated I could not perform . The show ended on February 2 , and premiered January 9 , ie , I was also just last week , was luck!
